A gateway to environmental signaling

e.hormone 2005 Conference

My dear colleagues:

I am sad to say that our seventh annual international symposium on the Environment and Hormones (e.hormone 2005, October 27-29, 2005) will be canceled because of the destruction due to hurricane Katrina. There is physically no possibility of convening a meeting this fall in our beautiful city of New Orleans.

My family and I are ok and the members of our Center and my lab are relocated and ok. Our Center labs and offices in the uptown and downtown campuses of Tulane are in pretty good shape. You can find contact information for specific CBR members at our temporary web site.

I hope you will come and participate at next year's meeting. Don't forget that there is an Environmental Endocrine Disrupters Gordon Research Conference, June 4-9, 2006, in Il Ciocco, Barga, Italy.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this cancellation causes. It was a great program and I was personally looking forward to hearing the talks. I have a favor to ask. The Tulane servers are still down and our mailing lists and data bases are retained in computers in New Orleans. I would appreciate it if you could put notice of this cancellation on your mailing lists or a society mailing list that you may know of. I will continue to get the word out, but will be working from a lap top in Raleigh, NC. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
